Arc/Straight Line Interpolation 4-Axis Motion Control IC MCX314As

RoHS directive compliant. Equipped with arc interpolation function, 4-axis motion control IC.

● Asymmetric trapezoidal acceleration and deceleration drives can be automatically decelerated. Symmetrical complete S-curve acceleration and deceleration drives can also be automatically decelerated. ● All input signals for each axis are equipped with an integrated filter. This significantly reduces surrounding C and R components. ● With a maximum speed of 2Mpps, continuous interpolation combining linear interpolation and circular interpolation can be performed. ● It has a built-in automatic origin return function. There is no need to create complicated origin return sequences in the program. ● It is possible to start drives of other axes or synchronize with external devices due to drive completion or passing through specified positions.

High-performance 4-axis motion control IC "MCX514"

We have added a new interpolation feature, making it easier to use and enabling more diverse interpolation options.

The MCX514 is a four-axis motion control IC that connects to a higher-level CPU via an 8-bit, 16-bit bus, and I2C serial interface bus, allowing for independent positioning control or speed control of pulse sequence servo motors and stepping motors on each axis. You can select any two, three, or four axes out of the four axes for linear interpolation, circular interpolation, helical interpolation, bit pattern interpolation, and continuous interpolation. Additionally, multiple MCX514 chips can be linked together to perform multi-axis linear interpolation. This IC eliminates the need for speed multiplication settings, enabling output of drive speeds from 1pps to a maximum of 8Mpps in 1pps increments. 【Features】 ○ Helical Interpolation → In addition to linear and circular interpolation, it can execute helical interpolation drive that synchronizes the movement of other axes during circular interpolation drive in the XY plane. ○ Pre-register → To support high-speed continuous interpolation drive, it is equipped with an 8-stage pre-buffer register that stores endpoint data for each segment. ○ Multi-chip Interpolation → By linking multiple MCX514s, it is possible to perform multi-axis linear interpolation with five or more axes. High-performance single-axis motion control IC "MCX501"

This is a revolutionary motion control IC that eliminates the need for speed multiplier (range) settings.

The MCX501 is a one-axis motion control IC that controls the positioning or speed of servo motors and stepping motors in a pulse sequence. This IC eliminates the need for speed multiplier (range) settings and can freely output drive speeds from 1pps to a maximum of 8Mpps in 1pps increments. The acceleration and deceleration drive can perform trapezoidal acceleration/deceleration as well as smooth S-curve acceleration/deceleration. 【Features】 ○ Types of acceleration and deceleration drives → The acceleration and deceleration drive can perform constant speed drive / linear acceleration/deceleration drive (symmetric/asymmetric) / S-curve acceleration/deceleration drive (symmetric/asymmetric). ○ Automatic deceleration start → In position drives using linear acceleration/deceleration (symmetric/asymmetric) and S-curve acceleration/deceleration drive (symmetric), the IC calculates the deceleration start point and automatically begins deceleration (asymmetric S-curve acceleration/deceleration drive is not supported). ○ S-curve acceleration/deceleration curve → S-curve acceleration/deceleration increases/decreases acceleration and deceleration linearly, resulting in a quadratic parabolic acceleration/deceleration speed curve. → The unique method also prevents triangular waveforms during S-curve acceleration/deceleration. 2-axis motion control IC 'MCX512'

Equipped with a variety of interpolation functions! High-performance 2-axis motion control IC.

The "MCX512" is a 2-axis motion control IC that connects to a higher-level CPU via an 8-bit, 16-bit bus, and I2C serial interface bus, allowing for independent positioning control or speed control of servo motors and stepping motors on each axis. It can perform 2-axis linear interpolation, arc interpolation, bit pattern interpolation, and continuous interpolation. Additionally, this IC eliminates the need for speed ratio (range) settings, enabling output of drive speeds from 1pps to a maximum of 8Mpps in 1pps increments. 【Features】 ■ Various interpolation functions (2-axis linear interpolation, CW/CCW arc interpolation, bit pattern interpolation) ■ Parabolic S-curve/trapezoidal acceleration and deceleration drive ■ Automatic deceleration for asymmetric trapezoidal acceleration and deceleration ■ Synchronous operation with 4 sets for each axis ■ Automatic origin return function, etc. *For more details, please download the PDF or contact us.
